NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale men's tennis team knocked off previously unbeaten NJIT 7-0 at the Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center.
Theo Dean won the most exciting match, defeating NJIT's Pablo Perez Ramos at No. 1 singles. Dean dropped the first set but rallied to take the next two, winning the deciding set in a tiebreaker.
Dean also teamed with
Aidan Reilly to post a 6-3 victory at No. 2 doubles. In No. 1 doubles,
Vignesh Gogineni and
Renaud Lefevre won 6-3.
Next up for Yale is a Sunday match vs. Indiana. The start time is 11 a.m.
