NEW HAVEN, Conn. – It will be a busy Saturday for the Yale women's tennis team. The Bulldogs host a pair of matches, first against St. John's at 10 a.m. and then vs. Fordham at 3 p.m.

Yale sits at No. 57 in the ITA computerized rankings released on Tuesday. The Bulldogs last competed at the Blue Gray National Tennis Classic on Feb. 24-25 where they posted a 4-1 victory over Furman, avenging a 5-2 loss to the Paladins earlier in February. Against a challenging schedule Yale has a 6-5 record this spring.

The road won't get any easier following Saturday's two matches as the Bulldogs head to Florida for Spring Break where they will face Central Florida, East Tennessee State and Florida International.

St. John's (7-5) is coming off a 4-0 win over Radford on Wednesday. The Red Storm has won two of its last three matches.

Yale will be the second straight Ivy League opponent for Fordham, which lost to Columbia 4-0 last Friday. That loss snapped a five-game winning streak for the Rams, who are 5-2 on the season.
