PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Yale women's tennis team dropped a hard-fought match at Brown 4-2 to open Ivy League play.
All three doubles matches were close. Brown won 6-4 at No. 1 and 7-5 at No. 3.
Chelsea Kung and
Ann Wright Guerry were tied at 6-6 when their match was stopped at No. 2.
In singles, Kung extended her winning streak to four with a 6-2, 6-4 victory at No. 2.
Rebecca Lynn rallied for a three-set win at No. 5. After dropping the first set, Lynn rallied to win the next two 6-3 and 6-4.
Next up for Yale is a match at Harvard next Friday.
