PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – AJ Gaich singled and scored a run in an 11-1 loss at Penn on Sunday afternoon.
The senior, Gaich, capped a solid weekend in which he went 4 for 10 with three runs scored and two stolen bases. In today's game, Gaich got things going for Yale in the fourth.
Gaich led off the fourth with a single and stole second.
Jake Williams followed with a double down the left field line to score Gaich.
On the defensive end,
Jimmy Chatfield threw out another base runner from the outfield. It was the second day in a row Chatfield recorded an assist from the outfield.
The Bulldogs stand at 8-7 overall in conference play after taking a game from first-place Penn this weekend.
Next weekend, the Bulldogs host Princeton for the final home weekend of the conference season.
