NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale men's tennis team wraps up the season by hosting Brown on Saturday at 1 p.m. The match will played inside the Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center.
Senior
Michael Sun will be playing his final match at Yale. Sun has enjoyed an outstanding career for the Bulldogs. This spring, he has won three Ivy matches, including a victory against Columbia, who was ranked No. 13 in the nation at the time. In the fall, he competed in the ITA Super Regionals, winning his opening round match in both singles and doubles.
As a junior, Sun earned Academic All-Ivy recognition. In addition, he was nationally ranked in singles and advanced to the quarterfinals at the ITA Northeast Regionals. In both his sophomore and first year seasons, he saw time at No. 1 singles.
Brown (13-15, 0-6 Ivy) dropped a pair of matches last weekend, falling to Cornell and Columbia. Against the Big Red, Niraj Komatineni, at No. 1, and Matthew Mu, at No. 4, posted singles victories.
