NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale men's tennis team ended the season in strong fashion. The Bulldogs cruised to a 4-0 victory over Brown at the Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center.
It was the final match for senior
Michael Sun, who was honored following the victory. Sun played an important role in the win, teaming with
Eric Li to post a 6-3 win that clinched the doubles point for Yale.
In singles, Sun met Brown's Roger Chou at No. 3 but the match did not finish.
Theo Dean ended his strong junior season with a dominant 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 1 singles. First year
Vignesh Gogineni also cruised to a singles victory, defeating Oliver Worth 6-2, 6-2 at No. 2.
Luke Neal was a straight sets winner at No. 5.
Yale ends the season with a 12-10 overall record.
