NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Phil Steele has announced his preseason All-Conference and All-America selections, and #Team150 is very well represented. Offensive lineman
Kiran Amegadjie was selected as the Ivy League Preseason Offensive Player of the Year and a first team FCS All-American. In addition, 10 Bulldogs were named first team all-conference, three were second team selections and three earned third team honors.
Amegadjie was voted as a first team All-Ivy selection last year by the league's coaches after starting all 10 games at left tackle and helping Yale lead the league in rushing and total offense.
Joining Amegadjie on Steele's preseason first team are: quarterback

Joshua Pitsenberger and
Tre Peterson, wide receiver
Mason Tipton, offensive lineman
Jonathan Mendoza, defensive lineman
Clay Patterson, linebacker
Hamilton Moore, defensive back
Wande Owens and
Jack Bosman, who was selected as both the first team placekicker and punter.
Yale's second team selections were tight end
Jackson Hawes, defensive lineman
Alvin Gulley, Jr., and linebacker
Joseph Vaughn. Wide receiver
Ryan Lindley, offensive lineman
Jack Karhu and defensive back
Inumidun Ayo-Durojaiye were the third team selections.
The Bulldogs, who are coming off a memorable 2022 season that saw them capture the outright Ivy League championship, kick off the season on Sept. 16 vs. Holy Cross at Yale Bowl.
