Amegadjie Named to Reese’s Senior Bowl Watch List

Latest of numerous preseason honors for Yale offensive lineman

Kiran Amegadjie
NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Watch List for the 2024 Reese's Senior Bowl has been announced, and Yale offensive lineman Kiran Amegadjie has been selected.

The Reese's Senior Bowl is widely regarded as the preeminent college football all-star game and the first stage in the NFL Draft process. The longest continual-running all-star game has taken place in Mobile, Ala., the past 74 years. More than 900 NFL personnel, including key decision-makers from all 32 teams, and over 1,100 media members from around the country were credentialed last year. In each of the past three years, the Reese's Senior Bowl has had 100 or more players drafted and over 40 percent of the entire draft class, which are both record-setting figures for any all-star game.

This is the latest in a slew of preseason honors for Amegadjie, who also was named a preseason All-American by Stats Perform and analyst Phil Steele. Steele also selected him as the Ivy League Offensive Player of the Year.

Last fall, Amegadjie earned first team All-Ivy recognition after starting all 10 games and helping anchor a line that allowed Yale to lead the league in rushing and total offense. In his first season in 2021, he earned honorable mention All-Ivy recognition and received the team's Charles Loftus Award as the most valuable first year player.

The Senior Bowl's scouting team has been working since last January to identify the "best of the best" draft prospects at every level of college football for the 2024 NFL Draft.

The Bulldogs, the defending Ivy League champions, open the season on Sept. 16 against Holy Cross at Yale Bowl, Class of 1954 Field.
