WEST POINT, N.Y. – Two of Yale's All-Ivy performers led the way on Saturday as 
Audrey Leak and 
Mila Yarich notched a team-high 12 kills each in a 3-1 loss to undefeated Liberty in day two action of the Black Knight Invitational.  The scores of the match were 26-28, 25-21, 25-20 and 25-15. 
Set Breakdown:
Set 1
Yale came out swinging to take the opening set.  
Mila Yarich had six kills on 14 swings, while 
Carly Diehl had four kills and eight assists.  First-year 
Laurece Abraham gave Yale a 21-17 edge with a kill.  The Flames stormed back to take a 24-23 lead, and Yarich tied it up on the next point.  
Gigi Barr and Diehl closed out the set with the final two points.
Set 2
The Bulldogs led by three points at multiple times during the set, and as late as 18-15 after a 
Cara Shultz ace.  Liberty used an 8-1 run late in the set to pull away for the victory.  First-year 
Betsy Goodenow had three kills on nine swings for the Bulldogs.
Set 3
Yale hit .323 in the frame and led 13-11 after a smash from 
Bonnie Bostic.  Liberty scored six of the next seven points.  The Bulldogs kept it close thanks two kills from Leak, and one both from Goodenow and Yarich.
Set 4
Kills from Leak and Goodenow, and an ace from Diehl tied the set at eight, and Yale took the lead on the next point thanks to a Liberty error.  Diehl and Yarich provided kills for Yale's next two points to keep the set tied.  Liberty went on a spurt from there to take the set and match.
Notes:
	- Goodenow finished with eight kills on 23 swings with only one error.  She also had nine digs and a team-best two blocks.
 
	- Yale, who led the Ivy League in aces last season, had seven today.  Maile Somera, Diehl and Yarich had two each, while Shultz had one.
 
	- A day after surpassing the 1,000-dig mark for her Yale career, Somera had team-best 10 today.
 
	- Barr finished with eight kills and a team-best two blocks.
