Third Period Goals Doom Bulldogs Against Clarkson

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale women's ice hockey team fell to No. 3 Clarkson 4-1 on Friday evening at Ingalls Rink. The Bulldogs controlled pace and tempo for the majority of the game, but three late third-period goals from the Golden Knights sealed the deal for the visitors.

Clarkson improves to 22-1-2 and 10-1-1 in the ECAC. The Bulldogs fall to 10-10-0 with a 7-6-0 conference record.

"I though we had a good game plan going and a ferocious, aggressive, second period turned the tables in our favor and we were really going strong until a slight defensive zone breakdown hurt us late in the third," said Mark Bolding, the Susan Cavanagh Head Coach of Women's Hockey. "Clarkson had to work to get this one, but we can build off of this game, despite the loss."
