NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale women's tennis team is off to a strong start to its spring season. The Bulldogs cruised to a 7-0 victory over Quinnipiac at the Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center.
Yale easily won the three doubles matches and then dropped only one set in singles play.
At No. 1 singles,
Shyla Aggarwal defeated Anagha Shankar 6-3, 6-4.
Sophia Zaslow had the easiest time, winning 6-0, 6-0 at No. 5 singles.
Quinnipiac is the defending MAAC champion.
WHAT'S NEXT
The Bulldogs travel to the Midwest for their next two matches. They play at Xavier next Friday and at Indiana on Sunday.
