NEW HAVEN, Conn – A pair of Bulldogs will head to Indianapolis in early March for the annual NFL Combine. Offensive linemen Kiran Amegadjie and Nick Gargiulo both received invitations to the prestigious event where they will look to impress the league's coaches, general managers and scouts ahead of April's 2024 NFL Draft.
 
Amegadjie finished his outstanding Yale career this fall, helping Team 150 win an Ivy League title for the second straight season. He earned third team All-America honors from Stats Perform, was a first team All-Ivy selection for the second straight season and was named the Ivy League's offensive lineman of the year by analyst Phil Steele.
 
Gargiulo served as the captain of Team 149 in 2022, leading the Bulldogs to an Ivy League championship. He played last fall as a graduate student at South Carolina where he was named third team All-SEC by the College Football Network. He was the only offensive lineman to start all 12 games for the Gamecocks. At Yale, Gargiulo was a first team All-Ivy selection as a senior in 2022.
 
Amegadjie and Gargiulo hope to join an already strong Yale contingent currently playing in the NFL. Jacksonville Jaguar Foyesade Oluokun '18 recently completed his sixth professional season. He led the league in tackles in both 2021 and 2022 and was fourth in 2023. Rodney Thomas II '22 just finished his second season with the Indianapolis Colts, appearing in 15 games and intercepting two passes. Offensive lineman Dieter Eiselen '19 played in one game with the Houston Texans this year. He began his career by playing three seasons with the Chicago Bears.
