Team 151 is back on the road, this time headed to the Big Apple to face Columbia for another important Ivy showing. The Bulldogs are coming off a victory over Penn last Friday night and are looking to carry momentum into Week 7. Friday's game under the lights will be live on ESPNU from Wien Stadium.

What You Need to Know
- Yale defeated Penn, 31-10, on Oct. 25 in a game that saw the Bulldogs limit the Quakers to just a touchdown and a field goal, both of which were scored in the second quarter.
- Abu Kamara is the reigning Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week. He had seven total tackles (five solo, two assisted) including one tackle for loss at Penn.
- It was his second-straight game with a forced fumble as well as his first interception and first quarterback hurry of the season.
- Kamara leads the FCS in solo tackles per game with 7.2. UAlbany's Dontae Lunan is second with 6.4 solo tackles per game.
- Kamara sits in a tie for first in the Ivy in total tackles (51), first in solo tackles (43), and second in the Ivy in tackles per game (8.6).
- Yale ranked 11th in FCS in fourth down conversion (.700) and are tied for 23rd in red zone offense (.885). They are also 27th in third down conversion (.437).
- Joey Felton has receiving touchdowns in three-straight games on a total of five receptions.
- David Pantelis' 123 receiving yards against Penn were a career high. His previous career-high was against Dartmouth on Oct. 12 when he had 117.
- Grant Jordan is third in the Ivy in touchdowns (11) behind Harvard's Jaden Craig (17) and Cornell's Jameson Wang (14). He has the second-longest toss of the season (71 yards) behind Brown's Jake Wilcox (87).
- Jordan's 80% completion rate (24-30) against Penn last week is an Ivy League season best.
- Tony Reno, Joel E. Smilow '54 Head Coach of the Bulldogs, who is in his 12th season at the helm, earned his 71st win at Yale against Penn, tying Jack Siedlecki (71) for second in program history for wins by a coach.
- Yale's game at Columbia on Friday wraps up its two-game road stint against Ivy opponents. The Bulldogs return home for two conference tilts against Brown (Nov. 9) and Princeton (Nov. 16) before wrapping their season on the road against the team from Cambridge (Nov. 23).

A Look at History
- Yale has won eight of the last 10 meetings against Columbia – including the last four-straight.
- The 2023 season saw the Bulldogs take down the Lions, 35-7, at the Yale Bowl, Class of 1954 Field. The Bulldogs held Columbia to less than 200 yards of total offense (194).
- The last time the Bulldogs and Lions squared off in New York City, it was Oct. 28, 2022, on a Friday night, under the lights. Yale took that meeting 41-16 as quarterback Nolan Grooms threw for a career-high 346 yards and four touchdowns.
- Overall, the Bulldogs lead the series 76-22-2.
- Columbia was Yale's first ever opponent in November of 1872, a game the Bulldogs won 3-0.
Scouting Columbia
- The Lions are coming off a 24-21 loss to Dartmouth last Saturday. Dartmouth remained undefeated on the season (6-0) and in Ivy play (3-0) with the win.
- In that match-up, Columbia allowed a season-high 271 rushing yards.
- Columbia's defense is at the top of the table in the Ivy League. They lead the conference in scoring defense (17.3), interceptions (7).
- The Lions' offense is first in the Ivy in third down conversions (.465) and second in the conference in total yardage per game (394.7).
- The Lions have had two players in the QB position this season. Cole Freeman saw the most action in the Lions' game last week against Dartmouth, completing 18 of 30 passes for 173 yards. Chase Goodwin can be another face the Bulldogs see. He has played in five games, completing 78 of 117 passes for a total of 879 yards.
