NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale men's basketball team continues its three-game week with a game at home against Emerson before heading back on the road to face Minnesota. Yale played on the road at Purdue on Monday evening.

Last Time Out
- Yale fell to the nationally ranked Boilermakers, 92-84, at a packed Mackey Arena in West Lafayette, Ind.
- Samson Aletan eclipsed a career-high in points (14). His previous career-high was eight points, which he set on Dec. 8, 2023, against Colby Sawyer.
- Seven rebounds were also a career-high for Aletan, who entered the game with a career-high of five rebounds against Colgate on Nov. 17, 2023.
- John Poulakidas, who has scored in double-figures in all three games this season, had a season-high 23 points.

- John Poulakidas is leading the Yale offense with a 21.0 points per game average through the first three games. He has a 43-percent field goal percentage and a 36-percent three-point percentage.
- First year Isaac Celiscar has been a bright spot through his first three games. He has brought in 28 points on 10-18 shooting from the field – and is averaging 20.5 minutes per game.
- Three Bulldogs are averaging in double figures. Along with Poulakidas and his 21 ppg, Bez Mbeng is averaging 15 ppg, while Nick Townsend is averaging 12.7.

Scouting the Emerson Lions
- Emerson has played just one game this season, an 89-83 victory over Western Connecticut State University on Nov. 9.
- They had four players in double-figure point totals.
- Trevor Arico had a game-high 22 points, while Guillermo Gasset Ruiz tallied 18 points, five rebounds, four assists, and three steals.
- Lucas Brenner finished with 17 points and Jacob Armant added 12 points.
- Emerson concluded the game with a field-goal percentage of 54.4%.
Scouting the Gophers
- Minnesota is starting the season with eight-straight games at home, including two exhibitions against Bemidji State and Hamline.
- By the time the Bulldogs hit Gopher territory, they will have played three official regular season games at Williams Arena.
- The Gophers are currently 2-0 heading into their Nov. 13 contest against North Texas and then a Saturday's matinee with the Bulldogs.
- Dawson Garcia is by far pacing the Gophers on offense, averaging 27 points per game over the last two games. He is shooting 67-percent from the field and 50-percent from beyond the arc. In addition, Garcia has brought down 15 boards.
- As a team, Minnesota is averaging 51-percent from the field and 40-percent from three-point range.
