Quoting Jones
It was a great team win – great to have everybody play and have everyone contribute," said
James Jones, Joel E. Smilow '54 Head Coach. "Guys come to practice every day, it's nice to see them get a chance to play and help us win. That is number one, that is a lot of fun. We have to go on the road again to Minnesota and play in another Big Ten building and you only get a few opportunities like that a year. They are great gauges to show us how we might fair –  and if we are good enough to make the NCAA Tournament again."

Up Next
"I am hoping that we continue to play well together. I thought against UIC we did not do a good job at being connected, and against Purdue, we were. Now we will have to do the same against Minnesota and everyone else going forward if we expect to win," said Jones in closing.
Â
Yale is back on the road for a stack of games before they play again at home on Dec. 7. First up is at Minnesota on Nov. 16 before a midweek match at Stony Brook on Nov. 20. On Nov. 23 and Nov. 24, Yale will kick off a pair of neutral site games at the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Tip-Off at Mohegan Sun with games against Fairfield and Delaware, respectively. They wrap their trip against Rhode Island on Dec. 2.
