In one of the most storied rivalries in college football, the Yale Bulldogs are set to face off with the Harvard Crimson in the 140
th playing of The Game. Kickoff from Harvard Stadium is set for noontime and will be aired live on ESPNU with Jack Ford '72 and Eric Frede on the call.

What You Need to Know:Â
- Yale enters the day with a 6-3 overall record and 3-3 record in conference play.
- The Bulldogs are coming off a 42-28 victory over Princeton in their final showing of the season at Yale Bowl, Class of 1954 Field on Nov. 16.
- Josh Pitsenberger was vital in the Bulldogs' run game. He rushed for 159 yards on 25 attempts, both season-highs. He grabbed two rushing touchdowns and one receiving touchdown.
- Inumidun Ayo-Durojaiye had a team-high nine tackles – with two sacks for a loss of seven yards. In addition, he tacked on a forced fumble and an interception in the endzone with just over five minutes remaining to seal the win for the Bulldogs
- For his efforts against Princeton, Ayo-Durojaiye was named the Ivy League Co-Defensive Player of the Week.
- Yale ranks fifth in the FCS in fourth down conversion (.733), 16th in third down conversion (.468), and 17th in red zone offense (.886).
- Grant Jordan is 11th passing efficiency (158.76) and 13th in the FCS in completion percentage (.680). Kurt Rawlings (2016-19) holds the Yale record for efficiency (159.13)
- Abu Kamara is first in solo tackles per game (6.9) and is fifth in the FCS in forced fumbles. In the conference, Kamara is first in solo tackles with 62. The next closest Ivy player has 44. He is second in total tackles (76), and average tackles per game (8.4).
- In the Ivy, Yale is first in total touchdowns (41), first in rushing yards per game (178.1) with a total of 1,603 rushing yards.
- On defense, Yale has the most interceptions (10), forced fumbles (11), and fumbles recovered (8).
- Josh Pitsenberger is second in the conference in rushing yards (676) and has the third-longest rush (64).
- Joey Felton has the longest kick return in the Ivy with a 57-yarder against Cornell on Sept. 28.
- Da'Quan Gonzales has the longest interception return in the conference with a 53-yarder against Lehigh on Oct. 19.
- David Pantelis' 195 receiving yards against Brown on Nov. 9 were an Ivy League season high.
- Nick Conforti's 8-8 PAT kicks made against Brown on Nov. 9 are an Ivy season high.
- Grant Jordan's 412 passing yards against Dartmouth on Oct. 12 is the highest in a single game for the Ivies this season. His 372 yards against Brown on Nov. 9 is the third highest game.
- His 68% season completion rate is second-best behind Dartmouth's Jackson Proctor who has a 68.4% rate.
- Jordan is tied for second in passing touchdowns (20) with Harvard's Jaden Craig. Â
- David Pantelis is third in the conference in total receiving yards (753) and fourth in yardage per game (83.7).
- Grant Jordan's six touchdowns were by a Yale quarterback threw since Kurt Rawlings on Nov. 19, 2019, in a 51-14 win at Princeton.
- He tied the Yale single-game touchdown passing record held by Kurt Rawlings against Princeton in 2019.
- He also became just the sixth Ivy League quarterback in history to record six passing touchdowns in a single game. Yale quarterbacks account for two of the six (Rawlings, Jordan).
- Tony Reno, Joel E. Smilow '54 Head Coach of the Bulldogs, who is in his 12th season at the helm, earned his 72nd win at Yale against Brown on Nov. 9, surpassing Jack Siedlecki (71) for second in program history for wins by a coach. He now stands at 73 wins.
The Series
- In the third most played rivalry in college football, Yale leads the all-time series with Harvard 70-61-8.
- The Bulldogs have won five of the last seven games, including 19-14 last year at Harvard Stadium, a victory that clinched an outright Ivy championship for Yale.
- The Bulldogs are 26-26-3 all-time at Harvard Stadium.
- Harvard has not won at home since 2014. That was a 31-24 victory for the Crimson.
Scouting the Crimson
- Harvard clinched at least a share of the 2024 Ivy League title last week, following its 31-28 come-from-behind victory at Penn.Â
- The Crimson have won seven-straight dating back to Oct. 4.
- Harvard is outscoring its opponents 33.00 ppg to 20.22 ppg.
- Jaden Craig has been their QB1 for the majority of the season. He has tossed for 2,138 yards for 20 touchdowns. On the rushing front, he has only rushed for one touchdown and relied heavily on Charles DePrima, who has rushed for seven touchdowns and net 400 yards.
- Cooper Barkate and Scott Woods II have been the main targets in the air. The former has nine touchdowns and 915 yards, while the latter has 47 targets and two touchdowns.
