NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale women's ice hockey team dropped a heart breaker to No. 6 Clarkson in overtime on Saturday afternoon at Ingalls Rink. The Golden Knights topped the Bulldogs 4-3 on a score by Caroline Goffredo in the extra period.
The Bulldogs hopped out to a 2-0 lead early in the first, but three unanswered goals by the visitors left them in a deficit with time winding down in the third.
Carina DiAntonio tied the game with just under seven minutes left in regulation, but Clarkson netted the game-winner 3:10 into overtime.
With the victory, Clarkson improved to 12-3-1 overall with a 5-1 mark in the ECAC. The Bulldogs fell to 5-5-1 overall with a conference record of 4-5-1.

Game Notes
- Clarkson now holds a four-game win streak over the Bulldogs. The two teams are 5-5 against each other since 2020.
- DiAntonio scored her third and fourth goals of the season and tallied her ninth and 10th points.
- Boucher also registered her third score. She has five total points this season.
- First year defender Sophia Levering recorded her first collegiate assists, adding helpers on both of the Bulldogs' goals.
- Jordan Ray tallied one assist. She has recorded at least one point in 9-of-11 games this season.
- Yale goaltender Pia Dukaric registered 27 saves while Minotti stopped 21 shots for the Golden Knights.

The Bulldogs will compete at the 2024 Nutmeg Classic hosted by Sacred Heart University. Yale will play the University of Connecticut in the first round at 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 29. Quinnipiac and Sacred Heart will compete in the other semifinal matchup. The two winning teams will square off on Saturday, Nov. 30.
