NEW HAVEN, Conn. – David Pantelis and
Abu Kamara of the Yale football squad have been selected to the 2024 New England Football Writers Association All-New England team.

This past week,
Pantelis was named First Team All-Ivy for his career year and now adds All-New England honors to his resume. The wide receiver finished the season with 901 receiving yards on 61 receptions and eight touchdowns, all career season-highs for the Pittsburgh native. Against Brown on Nov. 9, Pantelis had 195 receiving yards, a single-game career high, and against Dartmouth on Oct. 12, he had his longest career reception of 62 yards.

Kamara, who was also a First Team All-Ivy selection, was an important presence for the Bulldogs on defense and was recently named as a finalist for the Buck Buchanan Award, given to the national defensive player of the year in Division I FCS college football. This season, the defensive back was named the Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week on two separate occasions. This season, he had 84 total tackles, with 67 solos, two total for loss, one sack, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, two interceptions, five pass break-ups, as well as 10 quarterback hurries.

Additionally, captain of Team 150,
Wande Owens, who is playing a fifth year at the University of New Hampshire, earned his second-straight year of All-New England honors.

Yale finished the season with a 7-3 overall record and a 4-3 record in Ivy play. The Bulldogs went undefeated in their non-conference slate of games and won their last three games – including a 34-29 victory over Harvard.
