SCHENECTADY, N.Y. — Following up a victory in the Nutmeg Classic, Yale took down Union 3-1 Friday night in the Bulldogs' final trip to Messa Rink. The win brings the Bulldogs back to 7-5-2 overall and back to .500 in ECAC Hockey play at 5-5-1. Union fell to 7-11-1 overall and 4-4 in the conference with the loss.

With Messa Rink's closure scheduled for the end of the 2024-25 season, the Bulldogs close out their time there with a 16-2-1 record at the venue since 2004.

In her first game since her latest ECAC Goaltender of the Week nod, Pia Dukaric saved 17 of 18 shots, notching a .944 save percentage. Sophie Matsoukas saved 32 of 35 shots for the Garnet Chargers.
