QUOTING JONES

"It was a great team effort. Unlike last night, we did a good job offensively of sharing the ball and playing together," said James Jones, The Joel E. Smilow, Class of 1954 Head Coach of the Bulldogs. "We played the right way."

[On Knowling's offensive performance]. "We took what they gave us. It was one-on-one at the basket, and he was able to go score. When they doubled him, he kicked it out and found shooters. It was a nice combination."

NOTES

 • Knowling's seven assists were a career high. He has now scored in double figures in each of his last nine games.

• The Bulldogs did not commit a turnover in the first half and finished with four in the game.

• This was Yale's final road game of the regular season. The Bulldogs finished with a 9-6 road record.
