Bulldogs Set for ECAC Indoor Championship

Yale faces Harvard in first match on Friday

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale women's tennis team will spend the weekend in Massachusetts competing in the ECAC Indoor Championship, hosted by Harvard. The Bulldogs are seeded fifth and meet No. 4 Harvard in their first match on Friday at 11 a.m.
 
Play continues in the winners or loser's bracket on Saturday and Sunday. Yale faces either Princeton or Cornell on Saturday.
 
The tournament features all eight Ivy League schools. Princeton is the No. 1 seed followed by Brown, Columbia, Harvard, Yale, Dartmouth, Penn and Cornell.
 
The Bulldogs have opened the spring by winning their first four matches, including victories over Big Ten opponents Indiana and Rutgers.
 
The Yale doubles team of Orly Ogilvy and Ann Wright Guerry was ranked No. 55 in the first ITA individual ranking of the spring, released on Wednesday.
