CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Yale women's tennis team opened play at the ECAC Championship with an impressive performance. The Bulldogs, seeded fifth, knocked off No. 4 Harvard 4-0.
Yale won the doubles point thanks to victories from
Orly Ogilvy and
Mirabelle Brettkelly and
Ann Wright Guerry and
Jamie Kim.
In singles, Ogilvy cruised to a 6-1, 6-2 victory in the No. 2 position.
Erin Ha and
Guerry
also won in singles.
The Bulldogs meet top-seeded Princeton on Saturday at 2 p.m. The Tigers defeated Cornell 4-1 on Friday.
Harvard is the tournament host.
