CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Yale men's swimming and diving team sits in third place heading into the final day of the Ivy League Championship at Harvard. The Bulldogs have amassed 674 points in the first three days. Harvard is first with 1,124 points, followed by Princeton with 926 points.
First year
Deniel Nankov placed third with a time of 1:34.94 in the 200 freestyle. Fellow first year
Charlie Egeland also had a strong performance, placing fourth in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 52.68. Sophomore
Alexander Hazlett was sixth in the 100 breaststroke in 53.91.
In the 400 IM,
Jed Jones was sixth with a time of 3:52.07.
Yale's 400 medley relay team placed third with a time of 3:09.04
The championship concludes on Saturday with the prelims at 11 a.m. and the finals at 6 p.m.
