NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale women's tennis team's first Ivy League match went down to the wire.
Ann Wright Guerry's three-set win at No. 5 singles clinched a thrilling 4-3 victory over Brown on the Yale outdoor courts.
Guerry's win was one of three, three-set victories in singles for the Bulldogs.
Shyla Aggarwal and
Rebecca Lynn also posted clutch wins.
Mirabelle Brettkelly was a 7-6, 6-2 winner at No. 2 singles.
Brown had won the doubles point to take an early lead.
Yale is now 13-5 overall. The Bulldogs host Harvard next Friday at 2 p.m.
