NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Tony Reno, The Joel E. Smilow '54 Head Coach of the Bulldogs, will welcome 29 first years to campus this fall.
The Class of 2028 comes to Yale from 16 different states with California (6) having the most. Three are from Texas and Georgia and two come from Ohio, Connecticut, New York and North Carolina.
The newcomers join a Yale Football program that is coming off back-to-back Ivy League championships. The Bulldogs have won Ivy titles in four of the last six seasons.
Yale opens the 2024 season on Sept. 21 at Holy Cross.
