CORVALLIS, Ore. – In a battle of East versus West, the Yale women's soccer team took a 2-0 victory over Oregon State at Lorenz Field. The Bulldogs improved to 2-1-0, while the Beavers fell to 1-2-0.

- Both sides battled it out in the first 45 minutes of play but went into halftime scoreless.
- 49' | Ellie Rappole broke the deadlock in the 49th minute. Rappole powered around a Beavers defender and found her way to the top of the box, sailing a shot to the bottom left corner of goal and in.
- 59' | Off a set piece, Rappole found Marz Akins open on the back post for the tap in and the two-goal lead.
