Bulldogs Blank Fairfield 1-0; Improve to 3-0 for First Time Since 2018

 FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Lily Ramsey's goal 22 seconds into the game proved to be the game-winner Friday afternoon at University Field as the Yale field hockey team edged Fairfield 1-0. The Bulldogs improve to 3-0 for the first time since 2018, while Fairfield drops to 1-3.
 
Summary
  • Lily Ramsey scored the game's only goal, knocking one past Fairfield goalkeeper Payton Rahn on a rebound. Nicole Gotthardt initiated the play. 
  • Fairfield pulled Rahn for a kicking back with 6:04 left to play, but could not get the equalizer.
