With the victory, the Bobcats improved to 16-8-3 overall with a 7-6-2 conference record. The Bulldogs fell to 11-9-2 with a ECAC Hockey mark of 6-8-2.

- Bell tallied her team-leading 12th goal of the season.
- The Bulldogs have come up just short on several occasions this season. The Elis have lost six games by just a single goal.
- Despite the loss, Yale goaltender Pia Dukaric was outstanding throughout the game. The senior netminder matched a season-high of 32 saves.
