NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Senior
Pia Dukaric earned her 21
st career shutout, leading the Yale women's ice hockey team to a crucial 3-0 win over RPI at Ingalls Rink on Friday evening. The Bulldogs picked up three points in the conference standings and are currently tied for sixth place with five games remaining.
With the victory, Yale improved to 12-10-2 overall with a 7-9-1 mark in ECAC Hockey. The Bulldogs are in position to host an opening round playoff game. RPI dropped to 12-14-3 overall with a 5-10-2 conference record.

- P1, 10:47 | On the attack, first year Cami Bell corralled the puck along the boards and dished it to defender Emma DeCorby. The Bulldogs' senior fired a shot in front of the crowded net which was expertly deflected by Mariya Rauf for the first goal of the game. 1-0 YALE
- P2, 19:33 | Following an interference penalty against RPI, the Bulldogs took advantage of the extra attacker. Carina DiAntonio fired a wrist shot from the far faceoff circle. Her attempt caromed off an Engineers defender and found the back of the net, giving the Bulldogs a two-goal lead. 2-0 YALE
- P3, 11:15 | Midway through the third, the Bulldogs went on the attack again. As Bell skated around the zone, she delivered a pass into the slot for Stephanie Stainton. The Bulldogs' sophomore finished the play with a beautiful backhand shot, beating the RPI goaltender to the glove side. 3-0 YALE
Game Notes
- Mark Bolding earned his 99th win as the Susan Cavanaugh Head Coach of the Bulldogs.
- Yale snapped a two-game losing streak against RPI. The Bulldogs have not lost to the Engineers at Ingalls Rink since 2017.
- Rauf scored her sixth goal of the season. She is tied for fourth on the team in that category.
- DiAntonio tallied her 10th goal of the season. The junior recorded double-digit goal totals for the second time in her collegiate career after scoring 16 in her first year during the 2022-23 season.
- Stainton scored her third goal of the season.
- Bell added two assists. She finished a fantastic month of January with eight goals and four assists in nine games played.
- Dukaric earned her second shutout of the season, stopping all 23 shots she faced.
