NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale field hockey team shut out Sacred Heart 2-0 on an unseasonably hot and sunny afternoon Sunday at Johnson Field. The Bulldogs outshot the Pioneers 19-3 over the game's final three quarters, overcoming a slow start en route to improving to 5-1 at home this year.
Yale is now 7-2 overall (1-2 Ivy League), while Sacred Heart falls to 3-8 (1-3 NEC).
