NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Ethan Chung and Troy Kudrjavtsev from the Yale men's tennis team completed qualifying-round action on Day One of the ITA New England Regionals at the Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center on Thursday.
 
The Results

• Kudrjavtsev fell to Davis Matney (St. Bonaventure) 3-6, 1-6, but bounced back later in the day with a victory over Parker McGowan (Colgate), 3-6, 6-4, 10-8, in a consolation match.
• Chung opened with a strong win over Andre Ajed (Binghamton), 6-1, 6-4, but dropped a hard-fought match later in the day to Michael Malkin (Buffalo), 6-4, 6-7(9), 8-10.
