PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Yale women's swimming and diving team began the 2025–26 season on a high note on Saturday at Brown, earning eight event titles, including seven individual victories. The Bears, however, edged the Bulldogs in the meet, 160-140.

Jessey Li made a splash, sweeping the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke events and anchoring the 200-medley relay to a victory, cementing a strong day in the pool.
 
Key Results
	- 200-yard Medley Relay: The quartet of Devyn Sargent, Li, Penny Zarczynski, and Sara Plunkett touched the wall first with a time of 1:39.23.
 
	- 1,000-yard Freestyle: Caroline Riggs picked up a victory in the event with a time of 9:48.12.
 
	- 100-yard Backstroke: Sargent finished first with a time of 54.50.
 
	- 100-yard Breaststroke: Li won the event with a time of 1:00.20.
 
	- 200-yard Butterfly: Angela Wang picked up her first collegiate individual event victory, touching the wall at 2:00.77.
 
	- 1M Dive: Grace Wu placed first with a score of 266.33.
 
	- 200-yard Breaststroke: Li touched the wall first at 2:13.62 for her second victory of the day.
 
	- 200-yard IM: Lucy Walker picked up her first individual win as a Bulldog, finishing at 2:01.89.
