Last Time Out

• Five Bulldogs scored in double figures as Yale used a dominant first half to defeat Quinnipiac, 97–60, on Tuesday evening at M&T Bank Arena.
• After a tightly contested opening stretch, Yale held a narrow 24–23 lead with 10:33 left in the first half. From that point on, the Bulldogs' offense took off.
• Back-to-back three-pointers from Devon Arlington and Casey Simmons ignited a surge that stretched the lead to 38–26 at the 6:02 mark. Yale never looked back, heading into halftime with a commanding 52–28 advantage. 
• The Bulldogs closed the half on a dominant 29–6 run, shooting an impressive 70% from the field (21-of-30) and 66.7% from three-point range (6-of-9). 
• They stayed in control after the break, hitting 50% of their shots (17-of-34) in the second half to put the game out of reach for good.

• Five Bulldogs are averaging double-digit points per game: Riley Fox (18.5 ppg), Nick Townsend (17.5 ppg), Isaac Celiscar (12.5 ppg), Trevor Mullin (10.5 ppg), and Samson Aletan (10.0 ppg).
• Yale is first in the Ivy League in offense (97.0 ppg), and defense (64.0 ppg).
• The Bulldogs are also first in the conference in team FG percentage (.546), and fourth in the NCAA in three-point percentage (.500).
• Fox is fourth in the league in scoring, averaging 18.5 points per game, and first in 3-point field goal percentage (.778).
• Fox, Townsend, and Celiscar have recorded double-digit points in both games to start the season.

• The Bulldogs were ranked No. 4 in the Mid Major Top 25 on Nov. 10.
• Townsend was tabbed Ivy League Player of the Week on Nov. 10.
• Yale was ranked No. 5 in the Preseason Mid Major Top 25 on Oct. 27.
• The Bulldogs were unanimously selected to finish first in the Ivy League Preseason Poll on Oct. 23.
• Townsend was tabbed to the Field of 68 Mid-Major Preseason All-American First Team on Oct. 10.
• Jones was appointed to the NABC Board of Directors on Sept. 3.

 
Scouting Stony Brook

• The Seawolves enter the matchup with a 3–0 overall record.
• Stony Brook is coming off a 107–43 victory over St. Joseph's (Long Island) on Tuesday.
• In the win, the Seawolves tied a program record with 17 three-pointers. Five players scored in double figures, led by Rob Brown III's 23 points.
• Stony Brook was picked to finish 11th in the CAA Preseason Poll.
• Collin O'Connor was named to the Preseason All-CAA Second Team.
• The Seawolves are coming off a 13th-place finish in the CAA.
