COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Yale women's swimming and diving team wrapped up the final day of the Ohio State Invitational on Friday at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion. The highlights of the day included the 400-yard freestyle relay quartet posting a time faster than last year's Ivy Championships mark, and
Paige Lai placing third in the 1-meter dive.
The Results
- 200-yard IM:
- Lucy Walker finished sixth in the B final with a time of 2:01.24.
- Mabel Koff placed eighth in the B final, clocking in at 2:01.54
- 1650-yard Freestyle: Morgan Cady placed 12th (16:36.38) moving up to 10th all time, and Caroline Riggs was 13th (16:37.49).
- 200-yard Butterfly:
- Angela Wang placed ninth in the B final with a time of 2:03.29.
- Eunice Lee finished 10th in the B final at 2:03.52.
- 200-yard Backstroke:
- Devyn Sargent earned a top-10 finish in the A final with a time of 1:57.22, improving to eighth all time.
- Koff was third in the B final with a time of 1:57.73.
- 400-yard Freestyle Relay: Julia Ebli, Lisa-Marie Finger, Caroline McCurdy, and Sara Plunkett delivered a strong performance, finishing in 3:20.80.
- 1M Dive:
- Lai placed third in the A final with a score of 287.35.
- Grace Wu scored 238.60 in the B final.
