BRISTOL, Conn. – Yale football is making history, securing the Ivy League's first-ever automatic berth to the NCAA Division I FCS Tournament.
Yale will face No. 15 seed Youngstown State in the first round. The Bulldogs and Penguins square off on Saturday, Nov. 29, at noon in Youngstown, Ohio. The game will air live on ESPN+.
The winner will advance to the second round to meet No. 2 seed Montana State on Dec. 6.
Yale earned its place in the postseason by defeating previously unbeaten, No. 10 nationally ranked Harvard, 45–28, to clinch a share of the Ivy League title and secure the league's automatic bid to the FCS playoffs.
Last week, the Bulldogs entered the AFCA FCS Coaches Poll for the first time this season at No. 25.
