NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Postseason accolades continue to roll in for the Yale football team, as two Bulldogs earned year-end All-America honors from Stats Perform. Newly elected 2026 captain Abu Kamara and Team 152 captain Josh Pitsenberger were both recognized for their standout seasons.

First Team

Abu Kamara – Defensive Back
Fresh off being named a First Team All-American by FCS Football Central, Kamara added another national honor with his selection to the Stats Perform First Team. The unanimous Asa S. Bushnell Defensive Player of the Year, Kamara was also a unanimous First Team All-Ivy selection after posting a dominant all-around season. He finished the year with 76 tackles (40 solo), 6.5 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries, two interceptions, 13 pass breakups, a blocked kick, and two defensive touchdowns.

Second Team

Josh Pitsenberger – Running Back
The Asa S. Bushnell Offensive Player of the Year and a First Team All-Ivy selection, Pitsenberger earned Stats Perform Second Team All-America honors after a historic campaign. He rushed for 1,571 yards and 19 touchdowns on 313 carries, leading the Ivy League in all three categories during the regular season. His 130.9 rushing yards per game ranked fourth nationally, making him one of just 10 players in the country to average more than 100 rushing yards per game.
