CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Yale men's ice hockey team dropped a rivalry matchup to the Harvard on Friday evening at the Bright-Landry Hockey Center. The Crimson took down the Bulldogs 3-2 in their first of two matchups on the season, the next coming on Feb. 14 at Ingalls Rink.
With the loss, the Bulldogs fell to 4-6 on the season, while the Crimson improved to 6-3-1.

Game Notes
- This was the 272nd matchup between both schools on the ice. Harvard currently leads the series 157–92–23.
- Wagnon's goal was his third of the season. It was also Yale's first goal with an extra attacker on the ice since Dylan Herzog scored with 1:38 remaining in the Bulldogs' matchup with Brown on Feb. 6, 2025.
- Bentham's goal was his first of the season, and eighth of his career.
- Stark made 28 saves on the night with a .903 save percentage.
- Harvard outshot the Bulldogs 64-24, and the Crimson had more shots on goal 31-13.
- Both sides committed four penalties.
