NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Trevor Mullin had a career day as the Yale men's basketball team extended its winning streak to seven games, taking down UIC, 80-66, in its final home game of 2025 on Sunday afternoon at John J. Lee Amphitheater.
Mullin had a stellar performance with 22 points on 6-of-11 shooting, including a career-high four three-pointers, and added three rebounds, an assist, and a steal. 12 of his points also came in the first half.

Hear from Coach Jones
"It was a really good win by our team. UIC poses a different kind of schematic defensively to try and slow you down, and it took us roughly three quarters of the first half to figure out the best way to score. Once we did that, we kind of got going, and then our defense tightened up at the beginning of the second half. We held them scoreless for almost six minutes, which gave us the cushion to push it out, get the lead to 15, and cruise from there."

- Celiscar has reached double figures in scoring for six consecutive games.
- Townsend has recorded double-digit points in back-to-back games and has collected seven or more rebounds in three straight contests.

- Mullin achieved career highs with 22 points and four made three-pointers.
- Yale has scored 80 or more points in six games this season.
