NEW HAVEN, Conn. – First-year kicker Noah Piper of Yale Football has been named to the Freshman All-America Team.
The team recognizes the top freshman players from across the subdivision. This year's squad includes 62 players from 46 programs, with Piper as the only first-year selection from the Ivy League.
Piper delivered a breakout rookie campaign for the Bulldogs, going 31-for-32 on PATs and 13-for-15 on field goals. In his collegiate debut, he drilled a 50-yard field goal. Over the course of the season, Piper had four games with five or more PAT attempts — and was perfect in all of them.
