Men's, Women's Fencing Dominant at Yale Invitational

NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- The Yale men's and women's fencing squads dominated Vassar and Sacred Heart on Saturday afternoon at Payne Whitney Gymnasium in the teams' lone home event of the season. Immediately following the contests, the Bulldogs celebrated their senior class.

  • The Bulldogs wrapped up regular-season play with an overall record of 18-3. 
  • Seniors Michael Mun and Sartaj Rajpal were celebrated in a post-match ceremony.
  • Yale was most effective in saber, outscoring its opponents 13-5 over the course of two matches.

  • Yale dominated throughout the day, but was most impressive in foil, finishing a combined 18-0 against Sacred Heart and Vassar.
