Seven Goals for Collignon as No. 5 Bulldogs Top UML 16-6

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Senior attacker Jenna Collignon scored seven goals – one shy of her career high – as the No. 5 Yale women's lacrosse team cruised past UMass Lowell 16-6 on a sunny but cold afternoon at Reese Stadium Saturday. 
 
Yale (3-0, 0-0 Ivy League) had seven different goal scorers in handing UMass Lowell (4-1, 0-0 America East) its first defeat of the season. The River Hawks were led by 10 saves from goalkeeper Alexa Kuhn.
 
STATISTICAL LEADERS
  • Senior attacker Jenna Collignon had a game-best seven goals and eight points. 
  • Collignon and senior midfielder Sky Carrasquillo tied for the game best in draw controls with five. 
  • Carrasquillo led Yale in assists with two.
