PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Yale men's and women's fencing teams competed at the Ivy League Championships over the weekend. The men's squad finished in fifth place, while the women's team tied with Brown for sixth place.
Jordan Silberzweig and
Castor Kao earned All-Ivy honors for the Bulldogs.
Helen Tan and
Vinni Yu were Yale's Academic All-Ivy recipients.

Match Notes
- Sophomore Jordan Silberzweig earned Second Team All-Ivy honors in saber. Silberzweig, the 2024 Ivy saber champion, performed well throughout the weekend, registering a 7-5 record.
- First year Castor Kao also earned Second Team All-Ivy accolades in foil, recording a 7-5 record.
- Sophomore Nicholas Kim just missed out on all-conference honors, placing seventh in foil.
- Justin Lee and Vinni Yu also placed in the top-10 in saber and foil respectively.
- All four of Yale's opponents are ranked in the top-seven in the national poll.
