Bulldogs Fall to Fairfield at Home

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale baseball team dropped a back-and-forth, non-conference matchup to Fairfield on Tuesday afternoon at George H.W. Bush '48 Field. The Stags scored eight runs in the ninth to complete the 15-11 victory.

With the win, Fairfield won its eighth-straight game, improving to 20-7. Yale dropped to 15-8 overall.

  • Tuesday's game was originally scheduled for Wednesday, April 2, but was moved up due to impending weather.
  • Yale dropped to 9-3 at home and 12-5 in non-conference games this season.
  • Alex Hwang started on the mound for the Bulldogs. Ben Winslow, Mick Kelley, Ethan Lewis, Evans, Teo Spadaccini, Levi Strahm, Chace Chaplin, and Mark Capell came on in relief.
  • Every player in the Bulldogs' starting lineup tallied at least one hit. Imhoff and Ciulla each recorded two hits.
