Bulldogs Clinch Spot in Ivy League Tournament with Dominant Senior Day Win Over No. 20 Dartmouth

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Eight Bulldogs tallied goals as the Yale men's lacrosse team continued to roll, taking down No. 20 Dartmouth, 21-12, on Senior Day.
 
Yale extended its winning streak to three games and clinched in their 14th straight appearance in the Ivy League tournament.
 
The Bulldogs improve to 4-5, 3-2 (Ivy League), and Dartmouth falls to 7-4, 1-3 (Ivy League).

Scoring Summary
  • Q1 | Yale came out strong, quickly jumping to a 4-0 lead with two goals from Keib and one each from Anderson and Sharp. Dartmouth responded with a surge of their own, netting three goals to cut the gap to 4-3 at the 8:11 mark. The Bulldogs pushed back with goals from Moynihan and Keib, but the Big Green kept pace, scoring two more to stay within striking distance. 6-5 YALE
  • Q2 | After Dartmouth pulled ahead 7-6 at the 6:04 mark, Yale responded with goals from Anderson, Johnson, and Lyons. 9-7 YALE
  • Q3 | Dartmouth cut the deficit to just one (10-9) with 5:57 left in the third quarter, but Johnson responded with two consecutive goals to extend Yale's lead to 12-9. The Bulldogs continued to push the pace, as Lyons added another goal at the 3:58 mark, and Anderson capped off the quarter with a last-second score. 14-9 YALE
  • Q4 | Wehmeyer continued the scoring for the Bulldogs, scoring right off the faceoff to extend the advantage to six (15-9). After Dartmouth netted a goal with 10:25 remaining, the Bulldogs scored six straight goals, highlighted by Lyons' four and put the game out of reach for good. 21-12 YALE
