NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale baseball team put forth a dominant effort on Sunday afternoon at George H.W. Bush '48 Field, topping Princeton in both games of a doubleheader. The Bulldogs routed the Tigers 15-1 in the opening contest and completed the sweep with a 9-2 victory in game two. With its win in the second game, Yale clinched a spot in the Ivy League Tournament.
The Bulldogs improved to 25-12 overall with a 12-5 record in the Ivy League. Princeton dropped to 10-28 with a 6-10 mark in conference play.
Game 1 – Yale 15, Princeton 1
Key Performers
- Colton Shaw tossed a gem for the Bulldogs on the mound. The senior captain threw 7.1 scoreless innings while striking out 11 batters.
- Garrett Larsen hit three doubles and drove in a career-high six RBI.

- Bottom 2nd | The Bulldogs exploded for six runs in the second. Alec Atkinson led off the inning with a solo shot. Larsen and Jake Williams also recorded RBI hits. 6-0 YALE

- Prior to the first game, Yale celebrated its 10-member senior class for their achievements over the past four years.
- Williams went 4-for-6, matching a career-high for hits in a game. He was a home run short of the cycle.
- Dossa hit his team-leading fifth home run of the season. Atkinson added his third dinger of the year.
- Shaw has been excellent over his past three starts, pitching to a 1.12 ERA in 24.1 innings. He has struck out 24 hitters over that time span.

- First year Jack Ohman improved to 7-0 with another strong performance on the mound. Ohman tossed 6.2 innings while allowing just two hits and two runs. He struck out eight batters.
- Tate Evans earned the save by pitching 2.1 scoreless innings in relief of Ohman.
