FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Yale softball team fell to Fairfield, 2–1, on Wednesday afternoon. With the result, the Bulldogs moved to 18–19 overall, while the Stags improved to 15–18.

Game Summary

• B2 | Fairfield got on the board with a solo home run. (Fairfield 1, Yale 0)
• T4 | Walks to Lauren Perren and Katie Donahey, along with Grace Westmoreland being hit by a pitch, loaded the bases for Yale. Maddie Latta then drew a bases-loaded walk to bring in the tying run. (Fairfield 1, Yale 1)
