Box Score PRINCETON, N.J. – The No. 7 Yale women's lacrosse team had built an 8-2 lead before No. 5 Princeton even had eight shots on goal Sunday afternoon in the Ivy League Tournament championship game at Sherrerd Field. And when the Tigers momentarily rallied to get within 8-4, the Bulldogs really got going. Yale reeled off seven straight goals – including three straight by senior attacker
Jenna Collignon at the end of the third quarter as the threatening skies turned to pouring rain. The Bulldogs got the game to running time early in the fourth and went on to earn their second straight Ivy League Tournament title with a decisive 17-6 win.

Yale (14-3, 5-2 Ivy League) had gone down to the wire to beat No. 16 Penn Friday night in the semifinals, scoring twice in the final minute to earn an 11-10 win. There was no such drama on Sunday. The Bulldogs scored the first two goals of the game and never trailed, though Princeton did tie the game 2-2 at one point. Taylor Lane set the tone for the rest of the day. Princeton (14-3, 6-1 Ivy League) never got closer than within four goals the rest of the way.Â
