SAN DIEGO, Calif. – The Bulldogs earned a road win with a sweep of San Diego State on Saturday afternoon.  The scores of the match were 26-24, 25-14 and 25-21.

Match Summary

• Yale finished its California road trip with a 2-1 mark and have won four of its last five.
• Betsy Goodenow and Laurece Abraham were named to this weekend's All-Tournament team. 
• Lauren Kellen notched kills on her first six swings and finished with team-high 11 – and reached double-figures for the fourth time in Yale's first eight matches.
• Laurece Abraham finished with seven total blocks – her highest total since an eight-block performance against Penn on Oct. 28, 2023.  She now has 29 total blocks in 32 sets this season (0.91/set).  Abraham also had 10 kills on 17 swings without an error. 
• Yale held a 49-42 edge in digs – led by Yuri Park with 11.
• Ava Poinsett finished with seven kills and leads the team with 104 on the season.  She also finished with 10 digs – the second time this season Poinsett finished with at least 10 digs in a match.
• The Bulldogs out-blocked San Diego State by a 10-6 margin.  On the season, Yale has a 66-53 edge over opponents in blocks – including a 24-10 advantage in solo blocks.
• Bethanie Wu had 32 assists and the Bulldogs hit .270 for the match – including a .382 clip in the first set.
