Men’s Tennis Completes Strong Weekend at the Chowderfest Invitational

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Four members of the Yale men's tennis team closed out a strong weekend at the Chowderfest Invitational on Sunday, earning a doubles win and singles victories from Edward Liao, Jason Shuler, and Dylan Tsoi.
 
The team closed out the tournament with a 12-6 overall record, led by Tsoi, who went 6-0 in singles, and Liao, who went 3-0 with victories over top players from Harvard and Cornell.

  • Melchior Delloye/Masato Perera (Harvard) def. Liao/Eric Li (Yale) 6-2
  • Shuler/Tsoi (Yale) def. Cole Oberg/Elliot Wasserman (Brown) 6-2
 
Singles
  • Liao (Yale) def. Delloye (Harvard) 6-4, 6-2
  • Mitchell Lee (Harvard) def. Li (Yale) 6-1, 7-5
  • Shuler (Yale) def. James McDonald (Harvard) 6-3, 6-4
  • Tsoi (Yale) def. Wasserman (Brown) 4-6, 6-0, 11-9
