PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Yale women's swimming & diving team kicked off 2026 on a high note, shattering two pool records in a 201.50-97.50 victory over Dartmouth. The Bulldogs also faced Penn, but fell to the Quakers, 192.50-107.50.
The Results
- 200-yard Medley Relay: The quartet of Devyn Sargent, Jessey Li, Ele Donegan, and Sara Plunkett won the event in a pool record time of 1:39.04.
- 200-yard Freestyle: Julia Ebli placed second with a time of 1:48.21.
- 100-yard Breaststroke: Li had a strong swim, winning the event in a pool record time of 1:01.10.
- 200-yard Butterfly: Angela Wang finished second with a time of 1:59.92.
- 50-yard Freestyle: Plunkett touched the wall second with a time of 23.31.
- 1M Dive: Lily Horenkamp (264.35), and Paige Lai (257.35) placed second and third, respectively.
- 200-yard Breaststroke: Li picked up her second win of the day with a time of 2:14.50.
- 200-yard IM: Li finished second in the event with a time of 2:02.51.
- 400-yard Freestyle Relay: The quartet of Ebli, Caroline McCurdy, Plunkett, and Lucy Walker closed out the meet with a second-place finish in a time of 3:23.03.
